Thomas Hergert, Dean, Learning & Technology Resources, Northern Virginia Community College

Tom is Dean of Learning & Technology Resources at the Manassas Campus of Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA). Formerly a professor and D2L faculty coordinator at St. Cloud State University, he began his faculty career at Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC. He was a film and video producer at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA, where he received his MA and Ph.D. The current projects at NOVA allow him to integrate his skills and experience in support of professional development and student learning.
