Daniel C. Mack, Interim Director, Collection Management and Special Collections, University of Maryland Libraries

Daniel C. Mack is Interim Director for Collection Management and Special Collections at the University of Maryland Libraries, where he provides leadership for policy creation and implementation, strategic planning, assessment, and project management for library collections. His previous positions include Head of the Arts and Humanities Library at Penn State and Librarian at the Dauphin County (PA) Prison. Mack has advanced degrees in library science and ancient history. His research interests include interdisciplinarity in the academy and assessment of library collections and services.
