Barbie E. Keiser is an information resources management (IRM) consultant located in the Washington, DC, area, and operating globally. She attempts to bring the availability of information sources to corporate management’s attention and assist in maximizing their use. The objective of her consulting practice is to enable clients to use information in innovative ways and help them by establishing effective information management procedures to improve profit and growth. In 2007, she facilitated a series of information literacy workshops around the world, sponsored by UNESCO. This presentation is an extension of her work as a Fulbright Specialist in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and Vilnius, Lithuania.
