Amy Begg De Groff

Amy Begg De Groff has 14 years of experience in libraries; from working as a reference professional for Smithsonian Institution Libraries (SIL) to managing an innovative IT shop for Howard County Library in Central Maryland.   Amy and her staff of 6 manage 513 computers -- 316 of which are available to customers as fully functioning computer workstations, featuring word processing, web browsing, instant messaging, and multi-media services (audio and video.)  Amy's team has built a content management system using LAMP and has  deployed several open source enterprise solutions, including PC monitoring and collaboration(DeskNow.)
