Jamie Hazlitt, Outreach Librarian, William H. Hannon Library, Loyola Marymount University
Jamie Hazlitt

Jamie Hazlitt is the Outreach Librarian at Loyola Marymount University, a role that she has had since 2010 after serving as a reference librarian at LMU for 5 years prior. She is responsible for the William H. Hannon Library's communication and social media presence, programming, partnership, and outreach initiatives. In her previous life, she was a graphic designer in the architecture industry, which has been both a blessing and a curse as a librarian. Jamie and her co-presenter Cynthia Orozco both claim to be excellent distance swimmers, but they are also incredibly talented at creating elaborate excuses as to why they haven't yet made it to the pool this year.
