Kari Haugen, English Dept Chair, AP Lit & Comp, Wood River High School

Kari Haugen is currently an English/AP teacher at Wood River High School in Hailey, Idaho. Kari has seen many trends in technology change and progress and challenges her students to bring this change into education. Kari wants all of her students to understand the uses and also downfalls of technology. She also strives to educate students about their online profile and the dangers about the personal information they put “out there” on the internet. Kari feels that the only way we learn is to share ideas with one another.
