David Bowers, VP, Global Business Development, Oxford University Press

David Bowers is currently Vice President of Global Business Development at Oxford
University Press. He is based in New York City, although every month he spends at least one business week in Oxford, U.K. David's responsibilities include digital & print licensing, global business strategy, and incubating new ideas thru to established business models . Prior to joining OUP, David taught English in a village in Guangdong province, China. A native of the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan, he
graduated with a B.A. from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. In his spare time you can find David playing with his infant son Thomas. Thomas regrets the fact that he could not be here with everyone in the audience. Maybe next year.
