Catherine Baird is the Marketing, Communications and Outreach Librarian at McMaster University Library.  She is a proponent of integrated marketing and communications, and stresses the importance of solid internal communication as part of the marketing mix. Catherine writes a regular column on marketing and libraries for the Ontario Library Association's Access OLA magazine and will assume the newly created position of Communication/Marketing editor for the open access journal Partnership: the Canadian Journal of Library and Information Practice and Research.
