Andrea Peterson has been the Head of Library IT at Western Washington University Libraries for 11 years. She worked as a cataloger, director, reference and instruction librarian before discovering that IT was the most fun you could have in libraries.  In addition to managing IT at Western Libraries, she also manages Viking Village (http://forum.wwu.edu), the social networking site for Western Washington University and the topic of this presentation.
