Kelly Coulter, Vitual Services Manager, Richland Library
I am a web specialist with over 12 years experience building and managing online applications. Most of my experience comes from managing retail website design projects, so my perspective on library website design is unique. Before coming to work in the library industry I was in charge of the builds for Berkley-Fishing.com, PENNCustomShop.com, and AbuGarcia.com. I believe that everything we do should make sense to the user. We should all take a hard look at our websites from our customers' perspective. If we ever ask them to learn something new in order to use our sites, we are wrong. We need to move toward our customers and never ask them to move toward us.
