Carol Adams, Assistant Director, Library Development and Networking, Library of Virginia
Carol Adams

Carol Adams, presently Assistant Director in the Library Development and Networking Division of the Library of Virginia, has worked tirelessly with Virginia’s public libraries since 1988.  Carol played a role in the development of the original Virginia Library Network, VLIN, as well as the formulation of the Find It Virginia database project. From her years of service as State Data Coordinator, Carol is the expert on public library statistics.  Prior to coming to Virginia, Carol was director of several special libraries in Louisiana. She received a Masters Degree in Library Science from Louisiana State University and a bachelor’s degree in history from Southeastern Louisiana University.
