Mary Ann Van Cura, Library Development & Continuing Education Coordinator, Minnesota State Library Services

Mary Ann Van Cura serves as Library Development and Continuing Education Coordinator for Minnesota State Library Services. She serves on the Minnesota team promoting the Public Libraries and Access to Justice (PL/ATJ) initiative, a collaboration of Minnesota legal services, courts, law libraries, public libraries, and the state library agency to support library staff in providing access to legal information and services for members of the public who do not want to use an attorney or cannot afford one. Prior to joining the State Library agency, she worked in public, academic and special libraries. She has served the socio-economically diverse patrons of the Minneapolis Public Library, worked as a law librarian in academic and special libraries for over seventeen years, and served in a multi-type library on the Texas-Mexico border.
