Leslie Howard, Librarian, Washington Irving Middle School and Fairfax County Public Schools

Leslie Howard is a middle school librarian in northern Virginia. Upon receiving her BS in Language Arts Education from Auburn University, she began her career as an English teacher.  She decided to move to the library in order to better pursue her passions: helping teachers to make learning active and fun, and connecting students to the "right" YA book.  Leslie received her Master's of Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina.
