Hal Kirkwood, Associate Head, Library of Management & Economics, Purdue University

Prof. Hal P. Kirkwood is the Assoc Head of the Roland G. Parrish Library of Management & Economics.  Prof. Kirkwood is currently a Director of the Special Libraries Assoc.  He has published in Online, the Journal of Business & Finance Librarianship, Library Journal, College & Undergraduate Libraries, and several other publications.  He has presented at the Special Libraries Annual Conference, Computers in Libraries, Internet Librarian, and several other venues.  He is the winner of the Purdue Libraries Moriarty Award for Excellence in Librarianship and the Purdue University Helping Students Learn Award.  Prof. Kirkwood's interests are in business information literacy, concept mapping, Web site design and usability, and the role of academic libraries and entrepreneurship.
