JP is a Generation-Y librarian at NJCU in Jersey City, NJ's second-largest city and home to the Holland Tunnel and Statue of Liberty. JP's area of interest includes using technology to better market to and serve library users, specifically library sevice to diverse populations. JP one of the NJ State Library/IMLS's 8 Urban Librarian Recruitment Grant recipients in 2004, is currently on the executive board of the NJLA's IT section, is NJCU's site manager, and has facebook'd since 2004.
