Alexa Pearce, Research Associate, New York University

Alexa Pearce is a Reference Associate in the Social Sciences and Humanities Reference Center at New York University's Bobst Library. She serves on the Virtual Reference Services Subcommittee and coordinates the library's text-messaging reference service. Alexa is currently enrolled in a dual-degree graduate program, in which she will earn an MSLIS from Long Island University and an M.A. in World History from New York University. Her research interests focus on the nature and quality of reference communication in online and mobile environments.
