K-Fai Steele, Teen Programming Specialist, Free Library of Philadelphia
K-Fai Steele is a Teen Programming Specialist at the Free Library of Philadelphia. She managed a grant from the Maker Ed Initiative to run maker workshops in five Free Library locations in Summer 2013 reaching over 100 individual youth, as well as a Project:Connect DML 5 grant which culminated in a Maker Celebration in the Parkway Central library, with over 50 exhibiting youth and over 200 registered attendees. She is managing a Library Services and Technology Act grant to support and grow maker programming for youth at the Free Library from 2013-2014.
