Carolyn Foote is a "techno" librarian at Westlake High School in Austin, Texas. Fascinated by the confluence of technology and libraries, she has closely studied her campus' iPad 1:1 rollout and the impact on library services.  Four time finalist for the Texas Librarian of the Year, a White House Champion of Change, and winner of the Salem Press blog award 2010, she is a columnist for Internet @ Schools magazine. She writes  on her blog at www.futura.edublogs.org.
