Kelly Shipp, Electronic Resources Librarian, University of Maryland Baltimore County
Kelly Shipp is responsible for electronic resource management issues at UMBC, and previously worked as the electronic resources librarian at Gulf Coast Community College. She is active in the development teams for new ERM initiatives, discovery tools and interdepartmental work flows at UMBC. Kelly is also involved with e-resource management issues on the consortia level, and currently serves as the USMAI Electronics Collection Task Group Co-Chair and is a member of the Maryland Digital Library Content Working Group. Her background before entering library work was in corporate project management, and she is interested in how business practices can be used to improve electronic collection management and selection processes.
