Amy Deschenes is the Systems & Web Applications Librarian at Beatley Library at Simmons College in Boston, MA. She has lead library technology projects including mobile web and app development, usability testing, and integrating course reserves with the college's learning management system. In Spring 2011 she lead a grant-funded project to build and implement a mobile website and iPhone app for Beatley Library. Recently, she presented at NERCOMP on Successful Strategies for Mobile Web and App Development. Amy has taught workshops and classes on mobile web design, virtual reference, and creating video tutorials. Amy holds a Masters Degree in Library and Information Science from Simmons College.
