It publishes practical articles, product reviews, case studies, and informed opinions about selecting, using, manipulating, and managing digital information products.  ONLINE began in 1977 and changed its title to Online Searcher when in incorporated Searcher magazine in 2013. In 2023 Online Searcher became a section within Computers in Libraries magazine.
