Phyllis R. Snipes, Associate Professor, School Library Media, University of West Georgia

Dr. Phyllis R. Snipes is an Associate Professor in the School Library Media Program (SLM) in the Department of Educational Technology and Foundations at the University of West Georgia, where she also serves as SLM Program Contact. She was a media coordinator, media specialist, and classroom teacher in K-12 schools for 30 years prior to coming to UWG full time. In addition, she worked as an adjunct faculty member at UWG and GA State University for 17 years. She has presented library training for US Dept of Defense media specialists in Germany and received various awards for online teaching.
