A New Year and a New Look

Check it out. Information Today (IT) has rolled out a fresh new design for 2011. Starting with the January issue, IT is delivering its signature news and reports on industry trends in a sleek, compact format. Although the look is new, ITI’s flagship monthly news publication will continue to be brimming with rich content. We’re covering the topics and trends in the information technology industry worldwide that readers have come to know and rely on us to deliver. Plus, the new editorial emphasis is on giving our readers value-added content with insightful perspectives and expertise from our reporters, correspondents, and writers. From cover to cover, there’s more commentary and analysis that goes beyond just the basic news. IT leverages its more than 30-year publishing history to keep readers informed about the evolutions and revolutions happening in the industry.

For starters in this issue, look for a profile of Scott Schulman, president of corporate markets for Dow Jones & Co.; an interview with Derk Haank, CEO of Springer Science+Business Media; trends in mobile computing; and an in-depth analysis of pending lawsuits that are destined to reshape the business strategies of a few major industry players.
