John Shoesmith, Outreach Librarian, Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library, University of Toronto

John Shoesmith is the Outreach Librarian at the University of Toronto’s Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library where he handles the library’s web 2.0 and social media endeavours. When he’s not creating podcasts and videos of the library’s collections and exhibitions, as well as conducting tours of the Fisher, he manages to squeeze in archival processing of some of the library’s modern manuscripts holdings.
