E-Libraries 2001: Conference Overview

E-Libraries 2001 Program InfoToday 2001 Home Registration

E-Libraries 2001 (one of the three conferences comprising InfoToday 2001) caters to the needs of library managers and technology specialists and covers the latest developments in library and information center systems and services. This conference focuses specifically on the
distribution and management of information through libraries and information centers.

During this 3-day event, E-Libraries will address the technology and patron service issues that arise in a rapidly changing library world. With new software and systems being added (and subtracted) every day, E-Libraries provides an important forum for discussing today’s technological state of the art for delivery of library services.

Just a few of the topics being covered this year include “Incorporating Digital Content in the Library Web,” “Managing Electronic Journals,” and “Using Web Technology to Deliver Value-Added Information to the Corporation.”
