ISI Emerging Markets Subscribers Receive Same-Day Investext Reports

Internet Securities, Inc., a provider of Internet-delivered emerging markets news and business information, has announced that subscribers can now access up-to-date Investext reports the same day they are released by Thomson Financial Securities Data (TFSD). Reports can be retrieved in the original Adobe PDF format and are fully archived in the IntelliFind search engine with a comprehensive Investext citation feed. According to the announcement, ISI Emerging Markets subscribers benefit by receiving more than 10,000 continuous Investext reports in original PDF format, with no embargo period and at no additional charge.

The ISI Emerging Markets service provides online access to local emerging market news and business information from over 30 countries throughout Asia, Europe, and Latin America. The subscription-based service offers access to more than 3,500 publications derived directly from local and primary sources, including the Investext Database and Nelson Broker Summary Reports.

“This new agreement between Internet Securities and Investext provides tremendous competitive advantages for both our customers, the ISI Emerging Markets service, and Thomson,” said Gary Mueller, president and CEO of Internet Securities. “Our clients now receive original reports the same day they are released by Investext, thereby providing our subscribers with the most up-to-date investment analysis. They have the opportunity to make strategic and intelligent decisions faster than most of their competitors, and that’s a strong selling point we plan to take advantage of.”

According to Internet Securities, Investext reports provide comprehensive investment research written by top-rated and highly valued investment analysts throughout more than 500 leading banks, brokerage houses, and consulting firms.

James R. Hammond, senior vice president of marketing, said: “Internet Securities has been working diligently with several Thomson companies during the past year to find newer and stronger ways to leverage core competencies between various groups. Internet Securities has been effective in helping Investext profit from our presence and experience in nontraditional markets. There is a tremendous cross-marketing opportunity for Internet Securities and many of the relevant global Thomson providers such as Investext, Nelson’s, and other Thomson products.”

The Investext database will be fully indexed in IntelliFind, the ISI Emerging Markets high-speed, proprietary search engine. Subscribers to the service can search through 10,000 continuous Investext reports by keyword, publication data, and/or publication name using a citation feed provided by the Investext Group to ensure accuracy.

ISI Emerging Markets provides in-depth information about emerging market economies, including financial, economic, and political news and information, and transmits that data through an Internet distribution model. Full-text news articles, financial statements, industry analyses, equity quotes, macroeconomic statistics, and market-specific information, which are derived directly from local information providers, appear both in English and in the local language.
