Xyvision Enterprise Solutions, Inc. (XyEnterprise), a developer of XML content management and automated publishing tools, has announced that U.K.-based legal publisher LexisNexis Butterworths Tolley will deploy a new content management solution based on XyEnterprise Content@ software. This system will encompass editorial production at LexisNexis Butterworths Tolley, enabling XML content creation; automated work-flow management; and reuse of the company's content for its legal, tax, and regulatory services and publications.

According to the announcement, LexisNexis Butterworths Tolley selected Content@ based on the fit of the XyEnterprise application set to its requirements and the proven success of XyEnterprise solutions within other LexisNexis companies.

Phil Caisley, editorial systems manager at LexisNexis Butterworths Tolley, said: "As an information partner providing business-critical content to our customers, our ability to efficiently create reusable information objects, enhance our production work flow, and equip ourselves to better serve our existing multiformat output are critical goals for the company. In XyEnterprise we have selected a partner that can provide these capabilities through their leading software products and proven services methodology."

The system will use Microsoft Word and XML editing tools for content creation, Content@ for XML and document management, and Content@ work flow for enhanced data flow efficiency. Content@ provides a scalable content management platform with a publishing-centric work flow that facilitates the creation, management, and delivery of multichannel output.
