Handshake Productions to Launch E-LAM Reports for Libraries, Archives, and Museums

Handshake Productions has announced that it will launch the E-LAM Reports starting early this year. According to the announcement, the E-LAM Reports are a series of four electronic reports providing timely discussion and information on online and e-commerce issues of specific interest to libraries, archives, and museums. Each issue will provide up-to-date information in this area, along with relevant tips, trends, and tools to enhance the online and e-commerce activities of subscribing institutions. Case studies and evaluations of successful and interesting online and e-commerce sites of libraries, archives, or museums also will be presented.

Publication will only be in electronic format, with each issue produced in Adobe PDF to allow viewing in the original layout on all systems. The E-LAM Reports will be accessible from anywhere via a password-protected Web site.

Each of the four 2000 issues will have a featured analysis on a different topic, as follows:

The E-LAM Reports are written by Lesley Ellen Harris, a lawyer, consultant, and instructor in copyright law, new media law, and e-commerce. Harris is also the author of the book Digital Property: Currency of the 21st Century (McGraw-Hill) and the editor of  The Copyright & New Media Law Newsletter: For Librarians & Information Professionals (Handshake Productions).
