Theater and art in New York City — While at NOM, check out these top shows and museums
by Ev Brenner

Presents a guide to entertainment for those attending the National Online meeting (NOM) held in New York, NY. Urges visitors to take in a Broadway show, with 35 to choose from this year. Says that two new musicals have opened: "Contact," which critics could not stop praising; and "James Joyce's The Dead," which should not be missed if it is still around. Describes revivals of "Annie Get Your Gun" and "Kiss Me Kate," along with a few other Broadway plays. Adds that beyond the Broadway stages, there are many good off-Broadway dramas and comedies. Covers museums as well, saying that one of the finest collections of art in New York is housed in a mansion built in 1914 by steel and railroad tycoon Henry Clay Frick called The Frick Collection. Notes that the Pierpont Morgan Library houses one of the largest privately owned collections of American historical documents.
