Susan Mikkelsen is a Resource Access and Instruction Librarian at the University of California, Merced. In addition to providing traditional instruction and reference, she has collaborated with colleagues to develop tools and learning objects for asynchronous instruction. These include online tutorials, instruction videos, and an iPod Touch Library Video Tour that replaces in-person orientation for new students.
