Lew Belfont is the Head of Customer service and Professional development for Howard County Library System. He recently facilitated Somerset County Library system's strategic planning process. Lew has presented programs on values-based customer service at the 1998, 2000, and 2002 PLA Conference. In addition he has conducted workshops on customer service, emotional intelligence and strategic planning for public libraries and public library associations throughout the United States and Canada.
