Institutional Participation Coordinator
United Kingdom and Northern Europe
JSTOR/ITHAKA

Kate Kosturski is JSTOR’s Institutional Participation Coordinator for the UK and Northern Europe, advising libraries throughout the Continent on the best JSTOR products to fit their needs. Kate received her MLS in 2010 from the Pratt Institute School of Information and Library Science, and also holds a BA in Government/Public Administration from York College of Pennsylvania.  Ms. Kosturski is active throughout the American Librarian Association, serving as the Leadership Development Director for the New Members' Roundtable (NMRT), and on committees for the Reference and User Services Association (RUSA), Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL), and the Library and Information Technology Association (LITA).  Kate is also a Head Editor for the popular I Need a Library Job (INALJ) website, most recently for the New York City jobs page.  She has written and presented in a variety of venues, including Drupal Camp CT, Against the Grain, the 2013 ACRL conference in Indianapolis, and Code4Lib.

In her spare time, Kate is a crafter (and co-founder of ALA CraftCon, the American Library Association conference meetup for crafters), and enjoys British and steampunk culture, photography, video games, baseball (particularly the New York Mets and Baltimore Orioles), classical music, tennis, Thai food, and a fine glass of pinot grigio (though she is dipping her toes into the craft beer world).

A full portfolio, along with her blog, can be found at www.katekosturski.info.  You can also follow her on Twitter at @librarian_kate
