Julie Erickson

Learning Specialist
Technology and Innovation in Education (TIE)

Julie Erickson is a Learning Specialist at TIE where she provides professional development on OER, Customized Learning and more. She also manages TIE Reads, TIE's professional development library. Before joining TIE, she spent twenty years working in libraries. She spent nine years as an Electronic Services Coordinator for the South Dakota State Library working with school, public and academic librarians promoting increasing knowledge and usage of statewide subscription resources. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and a Master of Information Resources and Library Science from the University of Arizona.
