Jeremy Kemp, Faculty, San Jose State University

Jeremy W. Kemp is a full-time faculty member at SJSU SLIS and started teaching online in 1999. While he solders poorly, he is a consummate Maker of things both in bits and atoms. His instructional technology project connecting Moodle and Second Life has attracted thousands of participants from around the world — www.sloodle.org. Kemp has a doctorate in education and master's degrees from Stanford and Northwestern University. He has been awarded "Picture of the Day" three times on Wikipedia and "Featured Video" twice on YouTube.
