 Amy Affelt is the Director of Database Research at Compass Lexecon, one of the world's most prominent economic consulting firms. She has over fifteen years of experience in analyzing complex research issues through the use of proprietary, fee-based databases for citation in litigation. She is a professionally published author and internationally recognized speaker on topics of interest to the information industry, such as adding value to information, evaluating information integrity and quality, and marketing of information services. She was profiled in OCLC's NextSpace magazine and was named a 2007 Thomson Scientific Infostar for her creativity, innovation, and ability to anticipate research needs and customize information to fit those needs. Amy graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a B. A. in history and she has a Masters degree in library science from Dominican University. |
