Deb Hunt is Principal of Information Edge which empowers clients to find the information they need to do their work. Information Edge specializes in document and digital asset management, knowledge services, professional research, professional coaching and library design and automation.

Deb is SLA President-Elect (2012) and served on the SLA Board as a Director from 2008-2010. She belongs to the SLA San Francisco Bay Region and Silicon Valley Chapters and served as Chapter President and on many committees over the years.  She is also a member of the Leadership Management, KM, and IT divisions. She is an active member in the Association of Independent Information Professionals (AIIP) and served on its Board of Directors from 2001-2003.

Deb has written for Information Outlook, the Journal of Digital Asset Management, FUMSI, and Information World Review (IWR) and was the 2009 runner up for the IWR Information Professional of the Year Award. She has also presented at many conferences.

Her passions are career sustainability and continually expanding her skills and knowledge to push the boundaries of leveraging strategic knowledge.
