Shu Qian is the Science Reference and Instruction Librarian at the Albin O. Kuhn Library, University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). She has teaching and research experience prior to taking up librarianship, and has continued this interest in bibliographic instruction and information literacy initiatives. She received her MLIS from Florida State University.
