May Chang, Head, Library IT Services, University of MD, Baltimore County (UMBC)

May Chang is Head of Library IT Services at UMBC where she provides leadership in developing the Library's IT and computing environment to better serve the needs of users and staff. She has extensive management and leadership experience in academic and special libraries in the US and abroad.  Her interests and experience include web design and development, communication and collaboration technologies, multimedia literacy, and space design and planning.  She presents regularly at national and international conferences and also leads workshops on a variety of IT related applications and issues.  Chang holds an MLS from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
