Elaina Norlin is responsible for developing new programs in the areas of digital and preservation services, managing our member outreach activities through new partnerships and professional collaborations, and implementing new services to better meet the day-to-day needs of OCLC Eastern's member libraries. Elaina comes to OCLC from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), where she served as a senior program officer from 2003 to 2006. From 1997 to 2003, she was on the faculty at the University of Arizona Library, Tucson, as an Associate Librarian. Elaina has authored several books, including Usability Testing for Library Web Sites: A Hands-On Guide (2001, ALA Editions) and coming soon to print, eLearning and Business Planning: National and International Case Studies (Scarecrow Press). Elaina frequently consults with libraries on a variety of topics including Web design and usability, and grants development. Elaina obtained her M.S. in library and information science, as well as her B.S. in advertising from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. |
