Connie Crosby founded Crosby Group Consulting in January 2008 to work on knowledge management, information management and social media strategy. Prior to creating Crosby Group, she was a law librarian for eighteen years, with ten years experience as library manager in a major Toronto law firm. She is author of Effective Blogging for Libraries, part of the Tech Set series of books by Neal-Schuman Publishing, published in March 2010. She is an instructor with the iSchool Institute at the Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto, teaching continuing education courses on social networking tools for information professionals. Connie is also a lead organizer of Podcamp Toronto, a large annual event for social media enthusiasts.
