Marie Bloechle, Electronic Acquisitions Librarian, Libraries, University of North Texas
Marie Bloechle

Marie Bloechle is the Electronic Acquisitions Librarian at the University of North Texas with library expenditures in excess of $4 million for electronic subscriptions and services. She also has a depth of experience with special libraries, most recently as a market researcher with Verizon where she spent most of a decade marketing electronic resources to the employees at this Fortune 500 company. At UNT, we created a mobile library site and use OPAC-generated QR codes—as well as ones scattered throughout the physical buildings—to link users' smartphones to additional information and e-resources.
