Dawn Nelson

Dawn Nelson, former elementary and middle school media specialist, coordinates a team of 25 library media specialists and six technology integration specialists. The fully flexibly scheduled libraries allow the team to collaborate and support research projects, Google Docs, Moodle, and various other things.  Project Copernicus, a BYOD program, has been implemented in nearly all of the schools. Osseo Area Schools recently received the ISTE Seal of Alignment for its staff development program and is developing a graduate certificate coure with Hamline University. She is also a Past-President of MEMO (MN Educational Media Organization). In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking, music and time with her family.
