Curt W. Tagtmeier, Adult Services Librarian and Technology Coordinator, Fremont Public Library

Curt Tagtmeier is Adult Services Librarian and Technology Coordinator at Fremont Public Library in Mundelein, IL. He has a Master's in Library and Information Science from Dominican University. From 2006-2008, Curt moderated a discussion group for the North Surburban Library System on Computer Training. At his library, he administers several computer classes a year for patrons and staff from Basic Computing and Basic Word to Google 2.0. More recently, he helped to move the library website to a content management system. His latest focus has been to move the library into more web 2.0 applications like podcasts, widgets, blogs, and mobile content. Last Fall, Curt served as a member of the programming comittee for the Illinois Library Association annual conference.
