When and where is Computers in Libraries?
Computers in Libraries 2007 will take place April 16 – 18 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, Virginia. The three-day event is preceded by one day of workshops and followed by one day of workshops.
Will there be an Exhibit Hall?
Yes, the Computers in Libraries conference is held in conjunction with an Exhibit Hall. View the current exhibitor list.
How much does it cost to attend Computers in Libraries?

What does my registration fee include?
The registration fee includes: participation in any conference track for each day booked (delegates may switch between the four scheduled tracks as they choose); admission to the Exhibit Hall; conference bag with materials including a copy of the Collected Presentations (presentation papers/handouts); grand opening reception in the Exhibit Hall on Monday night; Tuesday reception in Exhibit Hall, a continental breakfast each morning before the keynote session; and, morning and afternoon refreshment breaks. Pre- and post -conference workshops are priced separately.
How do I register for Computers in Libraries?

How can I make discounted hotel arrangements?
The Computers in Libraries conference has arranged for room blocks at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City. Reservation information is available on the hotel page.
I need to book air travel. What options do I have?
There are three airports you can fly into. The closest airport is the Ronald Regan International Airport (DCA). There is a courtesy shuttle that runs every 30 minutes on the hour from the airport to the Hyatt Regency Crystal city. A courtesy phone can be found in baggage claim. The second airport is Dulles Airport (IAD). The hotel recommends that you take the Washington Flyer Taxi Service, which will cost approximately $45.00 - $50.00. The third airport is Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI). A taxi from the airport to the hotel will cost approximately $65.00 - $70.00. You can also take Amtrak to the Union Station ($20.00) and then a cab from Union Station to the hotel, which will be approximately $13.00. Will I receive a registration confirmation?
All registrants will receive confirmation of their registration by mail.
Where will the registration area be located in Arlington/Crystal City?
The Computers in Libraries registration desks will be located on the exhibit level (E) of the hotel. Registration hours are as follows:

I'm bringing my laptop with me. Will wireless Internet access be available?
The Hyatt Regency Crystal City offers wireless Internet access for a fee and is not affiliated with Information Today, Inc. or Computers in Libraries. Wired high-speed Internet is available in guest rooms on floors 15-18 only. T-Mobile Wireless Hotspot Broadband is available in all guest rooms and public areas. Please contact the hotel directly for additional information. (Laptops with wireless cards are required to access the network, and are the responsibility of the attendee.)
What is the dress code for the conference?
The dress code is business casual.
Is there anything that I should bring with me to the conference to be better prepared?
Each attendee will receive a conference bag that includes a pen, final program (with updated session titles, speakers, descriptions, etc), and a copy of the Collected Presentations (presentation papers/handouts). You may wish to bring a pad of paper and highlighter for note taking, and business cards for networking purposes. Some attendees also find it helpful to bring a light sweater or jacket in case session room temperatures fluctuate.
Will the Computers in Libraries conference sessions be recorded?
Yes, a CD-ROM will be available for purchase through The Digital Record. The CD-ROM features audio and supplemental materials (such as PowerPoint slides) for many of the sessions at Computers in Libraries. Digital Record staff will be onsite to take orders and answer questions. Orders are shipped approximately 6 weeks after the event. Workshops are not recorded.
Is parking available?

How should I arrange for special needs?
