Dialog One Releases New Dialog One Pharmaceutical Module

Dialog Corp. has announced the release of the Dialog One Pharmaceutical module. Dialog One is a suite of easy-to-use, “one-click” interfaces. A question-driven format allows infrequent or novice searchers to easily target the information they need.

According to the company, Dialog One Pharmaceutical allows fast access to Diogenes, Pharmaprojects, EMBASE, F-D-C Reports, and other pharmaceutical sources. With Dialog One Pharmaceutical, users can discover what new drugs their competitors have in development, follow regulatory information for pharmaceuticals and medical devices, and uncover lucrative drug licensing opportunities worldwide.

The Dialog One Pharmaceutical interface is divided into the following sections:

For example, the Pharma interaction form allows users to track drug-interaction literature from the respected clinical literature content available in EMBASE and MEDLINE. Enter a drug name and the behind-the-scenes search strategy takes that drug name and extracts synonyms from The Merck Index and Pharmaprojects. Those synonyms are then launched in MEDLINE and EMBASE where they pull up pertinent citations. According to the announcement, users are then free from the cost and the effort required to execute this complicated search.

Drug Pipeline summaries allows users to search for pipeline information by Company Name, Drug Name, and Therapeutic indication. Regulatory Information includes forms for Drug Approvals, Warning Letters, and New Legislation.

There’s no charge to access or search Dialog One. Dialog customers are billed only for output according to the terms of their existing contract. For more on the Dialog One Pharmaceutical module, check http://www.dialog1.com/pharma/index.html.
