Through an application-specific controller board optimized for CD-R duplication performance, the Mediatechnics Impact IP8800 copies up to 105 MB per minute per recorder (with 12x recorders, CD-ROM mode 1) and stores up to 6 GB of masters. The scalable systems come with up to eight recorders and several printer options. An 8x eight-recorder system is $13,450.
MARCAN also offers the Mediatechnics Impact M6800 stand-alone automated duplicator with four 8x recorders for $8,495, as well as the Mediatechnics MS4400/8800 series of manual systems.
