OneSource Extends Partnership with Primark

OneSource Information Services, Inc. has announced that it would extend its existing relationship with Primark Corp. to license the Worldscope database for use in its flagship OneSource Business Browser product line. This data allows users of Global Business Browser to facilitate analytical comparisons between companies, both within and across national boundaries, in local currency and U.S. dollars.

According to the company, Worldscope is a premier source of international financial data for corporate finance professionals and researchers, portfolio managers, and security analysts. The database offers extensive coverage on public companies worldwide in more than 50 developed and emerging markets, representing over 96 percent of the world’s market value. Over 400 Primark staffers worldwide collect, standardize, clean, and organize the data used in Worldscope for maximum accuracy and consistency.

“Access to robust, accurate financial information is imperative for business professionals to understand and evaluate companies on a global scale,” said Dan Schimmel, president and CEO of OneSource. “Our renewed agreement with Primark demonstrates our ongoing commitment to provide the highest-quality information to our clients.”

Worldscope data is integrated within Global Business Browser (U.S. and European editions) with numerous other premium sources of international company news and information, including Mergent FIS, Marketguide, Dun & Bradstreet, and Graham and Whiteside. Business Browser’s intuitive interface seamlessly combines these sources, providing the most complete perspective on companies around the globe, and offering financial data within the context of local and international news, articles, profiles, and reports.

Business Browser delivers a complete range of corporate and industry information including company profiles; news, business, and trade articles; analyst reports; executive profiles; industry intelligence; and financial data. According to the company, Business Browser provides textual and numerical information from different sources and integrates it with a consistent “look and feel,” providing subscribers with unparalleled reliability and ease of use. Available through the Web using standard browsers, Business Browser currently supports over 180,000 subscribers worldwide.
