Erin Thomas, Librarian Technician, National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution

Erin Thomas has an M.L.S from Catholic University. She comes to librarianship from a background in Gallery and Museum Studies and the Arts. Prior to her current position as a technician for the Biodiversity Heritage Library at the National Museum of natural History, she developed an arts and social change classification scheme for a small standalone library in NW DC. Her current interests in librarianship include user experiences and the use of evolving technologies as a means to improve services.
