Jill Hurst-Wahl

Jill Hurst-Wahl is a frequent speaker and author/blogger on topics involved in information access - digitization, digital libraries, copyright, web 2.0, etc.  She is also interested in where people access information and the devices that they use.

A person who believes in making all types of information available, Jill co-wrote The Information and Knowledge Professional's Career Handbook: Define and Create Your Success (2011) with Ulla de Stricker. The book is filled with lessons they have learned and believe need to be shared with other information professionals.

Jill is an Associate Professor of Practice in Syracuse University's School of Information Studies and the Director of the Library and Information Program.  Many information professionals also know her as the  President of Hurst Associates, Ltd.  She is a member of several boards and councils including the Special Libraries Association Board of Directors.
